RCE stands for "real cash economy", as applied to the world of MMORPG computer games. MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game), is a genre of computer game immensely popular, and lucrative to developers.

MMORPG platforms generate their income on a pay per month subscription. However, there are notable exceptions.

The MMORPG platforms based on a real cash economy are few and far between, there were only 2 successful examples, Entropia Universe (Mindark), and 2nd Life, which is (Linden Lab). But for both of them we saw that number of players is shortest every year and we can imagine that in nearest future they will desappear.

I discovered a new game underconstruction : AfterTimeDiaries, RCE MMO, where it will be possible to invest and get incomes from the game. This virtual seems well done, offer a much wilde number of activities than older games like Entropia and 2nd life.
Money of the game will be the After Time Dollars (AT$) and according to the game editor 1 US $ will be exchanged for 100 AT$. Sending to the editor few emails provided me a little more informations on the future world :
- More than 12 different activities at the game start (planned for 2013), not only hunting, crafting and mining like on entropia
- Skills gain even for trading, all activities offer gain of skills
- Public loot algorithm information to guaranty fair activities
- Direct link between game virtual bank account and real bank account, fast withdraw process
- e-money licence registred in Europe
- Beta version planned to a limited number of players who will receive valuable items for future
- Real free to play offering possibility to non depositer to really participate to all kind of activities without investments

I am really exciting to test this new game soon, editor planned start this new game during second quarter 2013.
